Altea Golf Club is one of the few clubs in the area that is wholly owned by it’s members but still welcomes visitors to play the course at any time, subject to availability.

The membership is made up of many nationalities, including Spanish, English, Dutch, German & Scandinavians to name but a few and there are many golf groups (societies) that new members can join. It is therefore perfect for those who want to enjoy fellowship as well as golf.

The course itself has improved significantly in the last few years due to the hard work of the ground staff and the club itself has been undergoing the biggest changes since it was opened in 1974.

The new Restaurante Jacaranda has opened after major renovation and features an enlarged terrace with outside bar and superb views. On the upper floor the new Bernia Fitness Centre and Gym is open to members and non-members. Lastly, the Golf Academy will soon be enhanced by a golf simulator which will be available to both members and to new golfers.
