The first meeting of the Petanque Group was held on Sunday 17th November and it was a great success. Over 30 people attended and enjoyed an excellent breakfast before they were given an introduction to the game of Petanque (also known as boules).
It was agreed that they would form a club and would play regularly on Sunday mornings. Anyone interested in playing, either regularly or occasionally, is welcome to come along.
